this was compiled before it was disabled:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Zaishen_chest
as you see, it dropped some useless event stuff stuff /tonics/, some title fodder /sweets and alcohol/, some hardmode stuff /tomes/ and golds and saphire (?)
Not really bad thing to waste capped faction on, but nothing that would make you go farm balth faction either./

Only Winter it isn't hehe, and the Design a weapon skins are comming next year:
From Gaile's User Talk page at wiki:
Quote:
We absolutely do intend to roll out those Design-A-Weapon winning concepts, in the game, in the coming year. We're waiting to unveil some cool stuff -- some known, some unknown -- this month. But after Wintersday, John (Items Guy) and I agree it would be super-cool to have new things to acquire. So, not too long now! -- Gaile 03:28, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

I actually hope it doesn't.
Harassment issues in text are one thing, add in voice and it would just be impossible to keep the game civil. If you think we have arguments over the chat filter and harassment bans now, wait until voice is a standard element of the game.
Over in WoW, several guilds were set up for the purpose of -NOT- having a vent server. Particularly women friendly guilds. Now that they have voice chat over there... Well its just an invitation to get female players to leave. Too many young males who can't lay off their hormones once they realize that Orc they've been teaming up with has a female voice...
Not to mention having to deal with people making constant racial and ethnic slurs, swearing, and so on...
As for a hairstyle changer, nice as that would be, haven't they said that is off the table, that it won't happen? And if it was a hairstyle changer, what would it be doing in a PvP area rather than PvE? In PvP you can just delete a toon and make a new one - no need for a changer.

I asked Gaile the last time I talked to she was online for a chat. And she said they had no plans for a Hair Changer...she could have been lying though to protect the secret and make a cool surprise...*hopes*

Hope we can get the pvp weapon/armor skins with it. It's pointless to keep it to the HB (which are pointless themselves imo)

She wouldn't lie. That would be a very stupid thing to do. To say you're not going to do something and then do it, no matter how much it's like, can and will stir the feeling of betrayal and have people doubting you.
If she was trying to throw you off she would have said something along the lines of "it has been looked into, but there is nothing new to report" or she'll just avoid the question.

If this requires Bathazar Faction, it would have to be some of the best timing ever. I'm very close to being UAX.

If the "cool thing" is related to different uses of balth faction, I hope they don't leave out usage of my 500+ tourny tokens.

same here, i've fully unlocked 5 classes and only have a small handful of skills left in each of the remaining and i uax'ed items like 2 months ago. and since i don't do tournements tokens would be useless for me.
